As a giant history nerd, I just found out a new fact and got way too excited.
It turns out that the first Empress of Mexico, Ana María de Huarte y Muñiz, is buried in Philadelphia. I’m not too sure, but I also think her son, the Imperial Prince, is buried next to her. One of her daughters, who became a nun, is buried in Washington DC.
